We designed the world’s smallest turbodrill, ideal for coil-tubing operations when milling out plugs. The blade profile was developed via CFD simulation iterations resulting in 30 horsepower with 30 gallons per minute. This patent-pending design is for sale, so if you’re interested, give us a call!

Among other calculations/analysis, designed a premium thread connection for the shaft of a 6-3/4” downhole mud motor, rated for 35,000 ft-lbs of stall torque. This was a situation where a traditional API SPEC 7-based connection could not deliver the torque requirements given the limited design envelope. Therefore, we incorporated custom modifications to the API geometry to increase efficiency in the distribution of stresses and maximize the frictional forces that sustain the massive torque requirement.
